Conduit Bending Calculator

Lay out an offset bend in seconds. Choose your offset angle and the depth you need to clear — WireCoder gives the distance between bend marks and the shrink to add.

How it works

Distance between bends = offset multiplier × depth (e.g. 2.0 for 30°). Shrink = shrink-per-inch × depth. These are the standard hand-bender figures from Ugly’s Electrical References.

Frequently asked questions

What multiplier do I use?

Common offset multipliers: 10°→6.0, 22.5°→2.6, 30°→2.0, 45°→1.4, 60°→1.2.

Does the app do saddles and 90° stubs too?

Yes — the WireCoder app includes three-point saddles and 90° stub take-up in addition to offsets.
